We’re on the lookout for an experienced Finance Officer who will maintain financial, accounting, administrative and personnel services in order to meet legislative requirements and support Smollan operations. The role is to be based in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania
The incumbent of this role will be responsible for:
Effective Management of Financial Systems & Internal Controls
Transactions
Analytical analysis of mark up
Accurate & Timely Preparation of Financial Management Reports
Effective Management And Control Of Cash-Flows, Working Capital And Budgets
Efficient and Effective Office Management
Effective Teamwork and Self-Management
To qualify for this role, you should have:
Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
2-3 years Financial Management experience in retail/FMCG
Excellent Communication skills (verbal & written)
Interpersonal skills
Solid understanding of accounting principles
Knowledge of local statutory legislation and regulations
Must include knowledge of Excel and proficiency in an accounting program or system
Time management
Organisation skills (structured, organised and able to prioritise accurately)
